I believe in the shoe god.  Christian Louboutin, one of her disciples, and the champagne house Piper-Heidsieck are bringing back the ultimate way to drink champagne – in a woman’s shoe, of course.  The ritual of drinking from a lady’s shoe took place during the 18^th century.  Today, “Le Rituel” is a gift box containing a bottle of cuvee Brut, designed by Christian Louboutin and a crystal flute in the shape of a stiletto with the emblematic red sole.  With corsets and lace on all the fashion runways and the art of the strip tease the exercise du jour, there is no time like the present to bring back this sexy tradition.
